Remember when Tori Spelling was best known for being on Beverly Hills 90210 and totally pampered by her father, Aaron Spelling? She used to show up at tons of Hollywood events but there was never any drama attached to her name, until she hooked up with Dean McDermott about 8 years ago. They both ended marriages to be together and Spelling basically signed on for a world of drama. Last weekend she reportedly checked herself into a hospital with a supposed "Ebola scare," and she has incorporated her hospital stint into promoting her second season of True Tori currently airing on Lifetime.
According to a report from TMZ, the Ebola thing was totally fake but instead Spelling's personal life is such a mess that it's making her physically sick. Friends are supposedly close to staging an intervention because they believe that as long as she stays in her crumbling marriage, she will remain sick. Spelling has channeled McDermott's admitted cheating into her latest reality show, and viewers get to watch the couple go through messy therapy sessions and even bigger meltdowns in front of their four kids.
Instead of focusing on her kids and trying to salvage her acting career, Spelling has made it her business to air her dirty laundry. She posted a photo from her hospital bed to Instagram yesterday that was captioned, "This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away frm you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I've finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori."
It's like her whole life is being lived to frame the next episode of her forced reality show. Why does she do it? Sources say that Spelling and McDermott have been living beyond their means and on the verge of financial collapse for years. Do you think that Spelling is on the verge of a nervous breakdown as some are saying, or is she doing everything for attention and a fast payday? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
