Doomtree Announces 2015 Album 'All Hands,' New Track 'Gray Duck' [LISTEN]

Doomtree disappointed fans earlier this year when they announced this December would mark the final Doomtree Blowout, but the Minneapolis-based septet gave supporters plenty of reasons to cheer Tuesday, Dec. 2, when they announced a new album and a national tour.

Oh, and the hip-hop veterans dropped a brand new song: "Gray Duck."

Check it out:

The group — made up of Dessa, P.O.S., Mike Mictlan, Cecil Otter, Lazerbeak, Paper Tiger and Sims — will release All Hands Jan. 27, 2015.

From the press release: "The title nods to the nautical rally cry 'All hands on deck,' and the album stands as the most collaborative and cohesive project the crew has yet produced. The production, from Cecil Otter, Lazerbeak, Paper Tiger and P.O.S., twists through 13 booming tracks, building the raw and epic soundscapes that the group has become well-known for while adding more of-the-moment musical elements and techniques for a genre-spanning effect."
