Future Music Festival Asia is back in 2015 and it has announced the lineup for its two-day festival. Taking place on March 13 and 14, the festival has relocated its grounds to the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore from this year's edition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has scaled back the festival from a three-day to a two-day festival this year, most likely to mitigate risks after this year. Today FMF announced the first wave of artists that will be joining the festival next spring. Unlike its Australian edition that varies in genre, Future Music Festival Asia is leaning almost all electronic, tabbing acts like Avicii, Afrojack, Fatboy Slim, Knife Party, The Prodigy and more.
Some of the other acts that are included in the first phase of artists include, Carnage, Bassjackers, Nero, Robin Schulz, Art Department, Sigma, Tchami, Gorgon City, Example and more (via In The Mix). Over its three years, the Asian edition of the festival has brought together 150,000 fans from 85 countries to its grounds.
More artists will be added to the bill in January and tickets are now on sale. The festival has also unveiled a trailer for the first wave of artists, showing you just how fun it will be to attend the festival. You can grab tickets on the Future Music Festival Asia website now.
The main Future Music Festival takes place in Australia in the two weeks prior to the start of Future Music Festival Asia. It will hit the five major cities in Australia and feature well known acts like Avicii, Drake, The Prodigy, and Martin Garrix.
Future Music Festival Asia will look to rebound after the deaths of up to six attendees on the second day of the festival this year. Additional safety measures will surely be put into to place to try and prevent a second tragedy from occurring. Due to last year's events, it isn't surprising that the festival had to relocate to a different country entirely.
