Tyga Shares Kanye West-Designed Cover For 'The Gold Album' [PHOTO]

Tyga's next studio album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty is set for release next Tuesday, Dec. 23, and today the 25-year-old rapper shared the album's artwork through his Instagram account. The cover features an image of Horus, the Egyption god of the sun, war, and protection, allegedly carved out of real gold. According to the picture's Instagram caption, the cover was created by Kanye West (the album's executive producer) and Donda.

Hot New Hip-Hop points out that the cover for The Gold Album is just the latest example of Tyga's fascination with ancient Egypt. Back in February, he spent $20,000 on an Egyptian tomb, and has used ancient Egyptian imagery on his line of Last Kings hats.

The Gold Album will be Tyga's fourth studio album overall, his first since 2013's Hotel California. Four singles have been released from the album so far: "Wait for a Minute" featuring Justin Bieber, "Hookah" featuring Young Thug, "Real Deal," and "40 Mill."

In support of The Gold Album, Tyga will be joining Chris Brown and Trey Songz on their 'Between The Sheets' Tour. The tour kicks off on Jan. 28 in Hampton, VA, and finishes up on March 8 in Los Angeles, with stops in New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, Dallas, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Detroit in between, among other places. You can check out the complete tour dates right here.

Today, Tyga and Chris Brown shared a new collaborative track titled "Ayo," which will be included on their upcoming Fan of a Fan 2 mixtape. You can check out that song right here.
