Are Drake and Chief Keef collaborating? Social media evidence suggests that GLOVO might be happening. As HotNewHipHop points out, Keef posted a photo on Instagram yesterday with a logo for the acronym, along with the caption, "Thou Not Ready."
The site investigated the connection further and found some recent back-and-forths between Sosa and Drake, which began after OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib Instagrammed a clip of Keef's song "Fool Ya" with the caption, "GLOVO," four months ago.
Apparently, Drake has been a fan of Keef's for a few years now. "Love Sosa has a least 120 plays in the last 3 days," Drake tweeted in October 2012 (via Kollege Kidd).
If something does come out of this, it won't be the first time Keef has been tapped by a major player in the hip-hop game. Sosa has previously worked with Kanye West on the "Don't Like" remix, his single "Nobody" and the Yeezus track "Hold My Liquor."
Although Keef's long-awaited Bang 3 album was promised on many occasions throughout 2014, most recently Christmas, it still has yet to arrive. However, Keef does have at least two projects planned for 2015: a new mixtape titled Thot Breaker, which is set to drop on Valentine's Day, and a joint album with his cousin, Fredo Santana, titled Blood Thicker Than Water, which has yet to be given an exact release date. Most recently, Keef released the track "That Be Me."
Meanwhile, Drake has a new mixtape in the works that is expected to drop sometime soon.
"I'm working on some great things for the beginning of the year. Just trying to keep people excited," he told ESPN at the Toronto Raptors' Drake Night last month.
Drake also been announced as a headliner for both Coachella and Governors Ball.
