The long-awaited Dipset reunion is officially happening thanks to Funkmaster Flex, who apparently corralled each of the Crunk Muzik members and got them back together for a tour. They broke the Pledge of Allegiance tour news in January on Funk Flex's radio show and now the first seven dates on the tour have been unveiled. The group made the announcement on Instagram and started a new Twitter account today just to provide updates.
Dipset have only announced seven dates thus far with the full venue details. They will start in their hometown of New York with two dates before crossing the river to New Jersey and heading out to Connecticut, Rhode Island, Texas for SXSW and then Miami.
In addition to the seven fully announced dates, there are more shows in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, Santa Ana and San Diego that will happen at dates and venues still to be announced.
The reunion will feature Cam'rom, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey, but former members JR Writer, Hell Rell and 40 Cal. won't be along for the ride. See the seven fully detailed shows below and head to Dipset's website for more details.
Get ready with some classic Dipset.
