Montreal's Osheaga Festival has announced its 2015 lineup, and it is a big one. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, the festival will welcome headlining acts Florence + The Machine, Kendrick Lamar, The Black Keys, Weezer, Alt-J, Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Nas, Kygo, Interpol and others to Parc Jean-Drapeau, east of downtown Montreal on the St. Lawrence River. The three-day festival will host a wide variety of different acts from hip-hop to rock to indie and EDM with more than 100 acts announced to perform.
The festival has a little bit of everything to satisfy the tastes of all music fans. There are plenty of rock and indie bands, like the aforementioned Weezer and Interpol, but also The Avett Brothers, The Decemberists, St. Vincent, Twenty One Pilots, Mily Chance, The War on Drugs and Marina and The Diamonds will make an appearance.
Hip-hop heads will get their fill as well with the inclusions of big names like Lamar, who is still riding high on the success of To Pimp a Butterfly; Nas; Schoolboy Q; Action Bronson, who celebrated the release of his debut major label album Mr. Wonderful yesterday, March 23; Tyler, the Creator; and Run the Jewels, who hope Killer Mike will be healed by then after being attacked at SXSW.
Dance fans will have plenty of opportunities to see some of their favorite DJs over the three days, including Brodinski; RL Grime; Hudson Mohawke, who would have released his sophomore album Lantern by then; Dusky; Robin Schulz; Art Department; ZHU; What So Not; GTA; and others.
Tickets are available now on the Osheaga website, and check out hotel accommodations while you are there. See the full lineup below via Elektro.
