When Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late drops next week in physical form, it will contain two bonus songs. "How Bout Now" is a cut the rapper has been using for the past year, but "My Side" will be a new track for Drake enthusiasts, Stereogum noted.
Curious fans can listen to the new tune below. Pick it up along with the rest of Drizzy's new mixtape next week Tuesday, April 21.
Drake released If You're Reading This It's Too Late in February, surprising his legions of fans who did not know about the new effort. According to Billboard, it has sold more than 774,000 copies and debuted at No. 1 on the charts. Critics praised the effort as well.
"Is it an album? Is it a mixtape? Who cares? The 17 tracks that Drake released at midnight on a recent Thursday hit harder and hold together more cohesively than most big-budget event albums," Rolling Stone wrote.
Drizzy will follow the mixtape up with an album titled Views from the 6, which is due out later this year.
Last month, Drake announced the lineup for his OVO Fest. J. Cole, Big Sean, YG and Jeremih will perform at the Toronto festival scheduled for Aug. 2 and 3. Drake will also perform along with other special guests who have yet to be announced.
The OVO Fest will not receive the government funding it used last year for the event. Organizers were given $300,000 to help put on the festival last year as part of the Celebrate Ontario program. Beneficiaries this year include Canadian Music Week, the Ottawa Jazz Festival and the Canadian Tulip Festival.
The rapper also recently announced a few summer tour dates. Drake will visit Houston, Detroit and Chicago with Future before making stops in Montreal, Toronto and New York.
