He may be one of the busiest guys in music, but that doesn't mean producer/rapper/singer/everything Pharrell Williams can't poke a little bit of fun at himself. Last Sunday (Jan. 26) at the Grammys, Williams raked up the golden gramophones but that wasn't what got him the most attention. No, that would've been his hat.
Within minutes of appearing on the red carpet, the Twitterverse was fully captivated by Williams' Mountee-esque chapeau, spawning parody Twitter accounts, viral memes and plenty of Arby's jokes. But now, Williams is getting in on the action like the entrepreneur he is.
Today (Jan. 29), his company iamOTHER released a 30-second parody of Williams' latest music video "Happy" fittingly titled... "Hatty."
The clip features little more than a scene of Williams dancing but his head and torso are replaced by... hit hat.
It's totally goofy but worth a watch. Seriously. That thing was ridiculous.
Check out "Hatty" below:
This isn't the first viral clip for "Happy." Last year, Williams debuted the first 24-hour music video for the Oscar nominated Despicable Me 2 track, featuring hosts of celebrity friends and cameos.
