Dave Holloway, Father of Natalee, Pursues New Information in Aruba

In 2005, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway vanished while on a high-school trip in Aruba. Last seen leaving a club with Joran van der Sloot, Holloway was presumed dead after a thorough investigation. A decade later, more details are coming to light, sending father Dave Holloway to return to the island to investigate.

Natalee's dad is teaming up with a private investigator as well as a cadaver dog to examine the recently surfaced details, notes Inside Edition. Ten years later, an eyewitness confirms that the key suspect, Joran van der Sloot, was in fact with Holloway, he even saw him later on with her body. Van der Sloot, who was 17 -years-old at the time, was arrested twice and never charged for the May 20 Aruba disappearance.

"I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night she was alive. I was the eyewitness," Jurrien de Jong told Inside Edition. "I saw that Joran was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space...I knew she was dead."

Van der Sloot resides in a Peru prison where he is serving 28 years for the 2010 Lima hotel room murder of Stephany Flores, reports The Huffington Post. After the sentence is served, he'll be transported to the United States and tried for extorting and defrauding Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway.

The main suspect has made multiple statements concerning Holloway, one claiming he left Natalie alone and intoxicated on the beach and another that he sold her into slavery. "I always thought the answer was right around the corner," Holloway told The Huffngton Post in March. "Here we are nearly 10 years later and we still don't know."
