It's safe to bet that there's a new album from The Weeknd on the way soon. Earlier this week, three new tracks from the "Earned It" singer leaked online, and now Abel has followed those up with an official release. Today (May 27), fan-favorite "Mood Music" got an official title and release as "The Hills."
After debuting the song at SXSW and Coachella earlier this year, The Weeknd announced the official title on his Twitter before dropping the music video.
"The Hills" features the signature sound of The Weeknd, with heavy thumping basslines. But before that can kick in, the ever present distortion and dripping vocals from Abel make this track indistinguishably sexy.
"I only called when it's half past five / The only time that I'll be by your side / I only love it when you touch me, not feel me / When I'm f*cked up, that's the real me," The Weeknd croons in the chorus, giving insight into the inner turmoil that inspired the lyrics.
As for the music video, the clip begins with The Weeknd getting into a serious car crash before he wanders around his neighborhood.

The official release and music video of "The Hills" arrives just one day after a trio of new tracks from The Weeknd's new album arrived online. The Max Martin produced track "I Can't Feel My Face" as well as cuts "In the Night" and "In the '90s" all sprung a leak over Memorial Day weekend.
