Arctic Monkeys may still be in the midst of its sold out North American winter tour, but that doesn't mean the "Do I Wanna Know?" band isn't still looking toward the future. Today (Feb. 19), Arctic Monkeys announced a second string of international tour dates in support of its latest album AM, and in addition to shows in Oceania and Europe, it will also be returning to the States.
According to Pitchfork, the extensive worldwide tour will kick off in New Zealand on May 2 before heading to the band's home continent and the United States.
Of course, the Arctic Monkeys won't be going at it alone. In New Zealand and Australia, Pond will join Arctic Monkeys; alt-rockers Tame Impala will storm London's Finsbury Park alongside the Monkeys and White Denim will open in America.
