Juicy J has given us a free download, "Pardon Me," while we wait for his album, The Hustle Continues, which was originally slated for release in fall 2014. The new track features young Chicago rapper GOD and is produced by Tarentino of 808 Mafia.
Juice is never one to chill out on a track, but "Pardon Me" finds him going even harder than usual, ripping through aggressive punchlines. The song's message is simple: If you stand in his way, Juicy J will run you over with no remorse, 'cept a quick "pardon me," perhaps.
As you can see, "Pardon Me" isn't your average freebie, boasting a sinister beat from one of the leading members of 808 Mafia, the most dominant production crew in hip-hop. Tarentino has recently lent his talents to Future on "March Madness," a 56 Nights standout, and Chief Keef on "Three Zero Zero."
Also on the track is little-known Chicago rapper GOD. He's got quite a name to live up to, but going off his verse on "Pardon Me," he has a promising career ahead. If you like his style, and are a fan of dark Chicago rap, check out his latest tape, The Bible, here.
Though there's still no release date in sight for The Hustle Continues, which is apparently finished, J has still had a good year, releasing the solid Blue Dream & Lean 2 mixtape, which spawned hits like "Already" and "I'm Sicka."
The Taylor Gang head A&R recently capped off "The Hustle Continues" tour, which pushed him to the brink of exhaustion. We hope he now has more time to get in the studio and put the finishing touches on THC, his fourth solo album.
Can y'all turn up to "Pardon Me"?
