Last night (July 25), Jeezy celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his debut album Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 at Atlanta's Fox Theater. During the run of the show, the Snowman was joined on stage by T.I., OutKast, Usher and more.
According to Rap-Up, Bun B joined Jeezy on stage and spit his verse from "Trap or Die." DJ Drama held down the turntables and the ATL rhymer paid homage to his city, closing out the show with "Put On," accompanied by Kanye West.
"You can call it rags to riches, but I like to call it a boy becoming a man and believing in his dreams, goals, and expectations," Jeezy wrote on Instagram while reflecting on his accomplishments. "Here I am, 10 years later, doing what I love-motivating the people."
Thug Motivation 101 served as Jeezy's major label debut and spawned hit singles including "And Then What," "Soul Survivor," "Go Crazy" and "My Hood." The album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2 in its first week of release and later became certified platinum.
In 2014, Jeezy released his fifth solo album, Seen It All, which also landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album featured the soulful title track featuring Jay Z.
Prior to the celebratory concert, Jeezy relaunched his Street Dreamz Foundation and hosted a neighborhood clean-up of Atlanta's District 4. He was joined by Councilmember Cleta Winslow, former Motown Executive Shanti Das and a slew of volunteers. The rapper was recently honored for his community service efforts and received the Phoenix Award, the highest honor an individual or group can receive from the Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed.
