Dame Dash is seemingly always on the take when it comes to business moves. The music mogul is currently prepping the launch of his new streaming service similar to Netflix.
As noted by Vibe, the new service will be featured on his site, DameDashStudios.com, and will include films that he has the rights to as well as all of his original content like books and documentaries.
"I have devoted my life to providing an authentic experience to pop culture without compromise," Dash said in a press release. "Now my music, movies, documentaries and self-help training videos and books will be aggregated at a single, easy to access distribution point going live on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015."
Beginning next month, the service will offer two subscription options: $9.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
Aside from working on his streaming service, AllHipHop reports that Dash is currently producing a series called Mafietta, which stars former reality star Deelishis from VH1's Flavor of Love 2.
Back in April, a Latin music group filed a lawsuit against Dash and Kanye West over the title of their film Loisaidas. A music producer named Michael Medina argued that Dash and West's film about street life is tarnishing his brand and wanted to halt the use of the name.
That same month, Dash settled his lawsuit against Empire creator Lee Daniels over a loan given to the latter to make his 2004 movie, The Woodsman. He also confirmed that State Property 3 is in the works.
"Me and my brothers spoke today and we decided to do a part 3 f*ck all the bubble gum sh*t and its been 10 years," Dame tweeted with a picture of the State Property 2 movie poster.
