Chris Brown is getting personal for his eight studio album. The 26-year-old singer has had a rollercoaster year, which included introducing his daughter Royalty to the world. Brown, who is currently on his One Hell Of a Nite Tour, alongside Kid Ink, Omarion, Fetty Wap and Teyanna Taylor, took to Twitter to announce to fans that he will be titling his new album, Royalty after his baby girl.
On Friday night, Brown took to social media to announce major news regarding his eight studio album that follows up his 2014 release, X. The "Body on Me" singer relayed to fans that he would be naming his new album after his 15 month year old daughter.
The album will most likely be slated for a fall release, and will be his second project for 2015, as he released a collaborative album Fan of a Fan back in February with BFF and rapper, Tyga. Although his new-found role as a father has been a far cry from a walk in the park. He is currently battling with the mother of his child, Nia Guzman who is looking to secure a $15,000 a month child support payout. According to Guzman, this is a very plausible request as their daughter could be the target of those wishing to do harm to her just because she is Brown's daughter and should have access to armored security.
This comes on the heels of a home invasion where Brown's California home was robbed and his aunt held at gun point.
Sources have it that it was an inside job, stemming from some of the nefarious characters Brown has had around him of late. Thus adding to the belief or Royalty's mother that the child is not safe in his presence.
