Here's the latest development in the quickly escalating #VodkaWar. French Montana, member of Puff Daddy's "Ciroc Boys," just posted an Instagram video of himself dumping a case of 50 Cent's EFFEN Vodka straight into the trash. "This is how I feel about your bullsh*t," he said while tossing the bottles.
UPDATE: 50 saw the clip of French throwing away a case of his vodka, and has since responded with another video, in which he imitates a phone call from Puffy to French that he suspects occurred immediately after French praised EFFEN.
LMAO puffy send them for cheese cake, the whole crew soft Damn #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO

Early this morning while still out partying, DJ SpinKing, one of New York's top hip-hop club DJs, posted a clip of French giving somewhat of a shout out to EFFEN. "That sh*t kind of watered down, but I love it," said the Coke Boys rapper.

50 has since reposted the clip on his own Instagram, taking the video as evidence that French is having cold feet regarding his partnership with Puffy's Ciroc. He jokes that Puffy hasn't been paying French for his longtime Ciroc promotion and asks Puffy, "where his check at?"

After seeing 50's post, French posted the video showing him trashing the case of EFFEN, which he claims occurred right after SpinKing posted the original clip. Yesterday, French Montana made an in-store appearance at a Bronx liquor store on Ciroc's behalf. 50 apparently heard the gig wasn't much of a success, as he put up a video of himself clowning French (but mostly Puffy) and claiming that only 10 people showed up. He then imitated French's supposed frustration at the underwhelming liquor store turnout: "He said, 'F*ck this, lemme have a drink. Puffy trying to make me go against 50, he set me up!'" 50 captioned the video by writing, "you know damn well that ain't gonna work puffy, daddy."

Things are definitely heating up in the longtime on-and-off beef between 50 and Puffy, who are now using their respective vodka brands as the primary fuel for their mostly harmless (and humorous) rivalry. When Puffy stopped by The Breakfast Club last week, 50 had a case of EFFEN delivered to him while he was on the air and he included a note that read, "Let's be friends - Curtis Jackson," imitating Drake's similar move -- when he sent Charlamagne Tha God bottles of champagne after promising he would do so on his "Back 2 Back" Meek Mill diss track. In June, Puff had offered 50 a "lifetime supply" of Ciroc for his 40th birthday. After receiving the bottles from 50, Puffy welcomed him into the vodka game but added, "Hopefully he appreciates me opening up the doors for him continuously." Earlier this week, 50 took back his offer of friendship and dissed Puff Daddy's latest Pharrell-featuring single, "Finna Get Loose," saying, "That sh*t is like an African chant."
