DMX's Platinum Albums Sold on eBay by His Son While He's in Prison

Word on the Web is that DMX has lost one of the most prized possessions of his rap career with help from his son, Xavier Simmons. He reportedly sold the "Party Up" rapper's platinum albums on eBay while his father is in prison.

According to Billboard, Simmons listed the commemorative plaque for X's first three multiplatinum-selling albums (It's Dark And Hell Is Hot, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood and And Then There Was X) on the auctioning site for $3,000.

X, who is currently incarcerated at New York's Erie County Holding Center, reportedly told TMZ that he is "livid," as he never gave permission for the plaque to be sold. At press time, the plaque was no longer available and sold for an undisclosed best offer.

Back in 2013, DMX and his son had an explosive reunion during the premiere of OWN's Iyanla Fix My Life with Simmons pointing to his father's infidelity while married to his mother as a cause for their poor relationship.

DMX is currently serving a six month sentence following "violation of certain court orders or conditions of bond in a family violence case". As previously reported, court records indicate the rapper racked up $400,000 in unpaid child support expenses.

It seems the troubled rapper can't catch a break. Earlier this year, he was implicated in an alleged aggravated robbery of a New Jersey man who claims X robbed him at gunpoint. No charges were ever filed in that incident.

"I do not recall the incident to which you are referring to," X previously said. "If I'd of did it, you'd of known about it."

The 44-year-old rapper attempted to further solidify his innocence by claiming that the devil is trying to destroy him. Prior to his legal issues, DMX hit the stage during DJ Snake's set at Coachella back in April.
