The Black Keys have announced the release of their first new song in three years due out Monday, REVOLT reports. The track, "Fever," will premiere on US rock stations at 3:30 EST. However, no other details have been given about the song.
Since the release of 2011's Grammy-winning El Camino, Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach have spent most of their time touring and producing albums for other artists. Auerbach, who earned the Producer of the Year Grammy (Non-Classical) in 2013, recently worked on albums for Lana Del Rey and Ray LaMontagne. Carney, meanwhile, has worked on records for The Sheepdogs, Tennis and The Black Lips.
The Black Keys are only scheduled for one US gig so far this year, Hangout Festival, which takes place on the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. After that, the duo will head out for a jaunt through the European festival circuit.
