The Black Keys use Mike Tyson to announce new album, 'Turn Blue,' due out in May [WATCH]

The Black Keys have revealed the title and release date of their upcoming eighth studio album. Entitled Turn Blue, the effort is due out May 13. However, their method of unveiling their latest project was a little bizarre.

They had Mike Tyson send a cryptic tweet with the message "Turn Blue," along with a link to a spooky YouTube video of a hypnotherapist talking into the camera with a swirling pink record spinning next to him.

"If you follow me," the man says, "you will turn blue. This is where it begins: in your mind."

The two-minute clip ends with an infomercial-type confirmation containing details about the album.

Drummer Patrick Carney has also been teasing the record on his Instagram account, posting images of various people tinted blue.

Yesterday, REVOLT reported that the band would be releasing the new single, "Fever," on March 24. However, no more details have been given.
