Shia LaBeouf Arrested Again, Booked for Public Intoxication in Texas

Actor Shia LaBeouf has found himself in more trouble with the law. This time, the Transformers star has been arrested and booked for public intoxication.

On the evening of Oct. 8, at around 7:45 p.m., LaBeouf was in Austin, Texas where, according to a TMZ report, for being publicly out of control. According to the report, witnesses say the 29-year-old was "blitzed" and caused a public scene prompting police to arrive. Witnesses reportedly saw LaBeof trying to enter a local bar with a woman but he was ultimately denied entry due to his level of intoxication.

Reports state the Transformers star became unruly and disrespectful upon being denied entry and began "swearing up a storm," and attempting to make his way around the club's staff, who were prohibiting him from entering the venue.

According to the reports, witnesses said his behavior was bizarre and resembled that of someone who was high or heavily intoxicated. The police subdued him after watching him jaywalk outside of the bar on 6th street and ultimately booked him on misdemeanor public intoxication charges and took him to Travis County Jail.

In June of last year, LaBeouf was arrested for another episode of drunken behavior. Variety reported that the actor was found smoking in the Studio 54 theater in New York and became loud and disruptive to a level where the police were called. The actor was handcuffed and arrested during the intermission of the Cabaret performance, where he was then officially charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing.

LaBeouf has openly spoken about his battle with alcohol and completed a brief stint in "an al​cohol treatment program at the exclusive Hills facility in Los Angeles," as reported by Page Six.
