For some odd reason, Shia LaBeouf continues to find himself in trouble with the law. His most recent incident involved a public intoxication arrest in a famous entertainment district called Sixth Street in Austin, Texas on Friday (Oct. 9). According to a recent TMZ report, details from the drunken arrest have been released, including the actor referring to a cop as a "silly man" and accusing the LAPD of killing his friend.
What initially began as a simple jaywalking stop, quickly turned into an unruly arrest for the Transformers star. A cop noticed LaBeouf and a group of friends illegally crossing the street in the popular downtown district, but when he approached the actor, he noticed his speech was slurred and his clothes smelled like they were soaked in alcohol.
Often times, celebrities use their status to get out of trouble, especially when it comes to the law. According to a recent TMZ report, LaBeouf tried to negotiate his freedom in an extremely bazaar way, which included him accusing the LAPD of killing one of his friends. Due to the alleged murder, LaBeouf claimed police usually let him go.
Law enforcement officers were not buying his story and continued with the arrest. At that time, the former child star reportedly became belligerent and confrontational. LaBeouf's crazy antics included, but were not limited to calling an officer a "silly man," delivering a string of threats, trying to convince them he was a member of the National Guard, and ultimately demanding the officer, "do whatever the f*ck you gotta do!"
LaBeouf was previously arrested by New York police in June 2014 for refusing to leave a theater after being asked, using obscene language, and spitting on an officer. He agreed to seek treatment for his alcohol abuse after pleading guilty to the charges.
More information about the star's arrest will be revealed as more information is disclosed, so stay tuned.
