The Rolling Stones were understandably for a spell following the death of L'Wren Scott, the longtime partner of frontman Mick Jagger. At the risk of sounding callous, nothing can keep the band down for too long however, and the group will hit the road again in May, beginning a slew of dates across Europe and Israel.
The Stones were in the middle of an Australian tour when Scott's death was discovered. A spokesperson for the band stated that the Australian shows would be rescheduled for later. The suggestion has been made that those dates will take place during October, but nothing is official yet. The tickets for the previous dates will be honored at the theoretical later shows.
As for the European dates, The Stones will open up in Oslo, Norway on May 26 at Telenor Arena, and continue until the Roskilde Festival in Denmark on July 3. The latter date might be your best chance if you're hoping to catch The Stones during their "14 On Fire" tour through Europe. Nearly all of the dates are sold out already, except for Roskilde and the Portuguese version of Rock in Rio, and a large park show in Tel Aviv.
