Rustie Announces New Album 'EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE,' Shares "Peace Upzzz"

Glaswegian producer Rustie has quietly announced without any real warning that he will be dropping a brand new album EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE. In the past two days, Rustie has teased out two tracks from the LP that are heavy on the zs, "Peace Upzzz" and "First Mythz."

Rustie has not unveiled any more details about his upcoming LP, beyond that it will be released tomorrow, Nov. 5. It can be assumed that the LP will be released through his long-time label home Warp Records, but that information will be teased out tomorrow.

The rollout for this LP has been in stark contract to what he has done in the past, notably his 2014 full-length Green Language. That LP had some pretty big collaborations, including a track with Danny Brown and he went with a more traditional approach to promotion with radio premieres and a big media push. This is more grass roots, relying on social media and the element of surprise and shock to galvanize his fan base. With his strong roots in hip-hop, the surprise roll-out makes sense with that way of dropping music taking hold in rap.

The two singles he has unveiled over the past two days are assumed to be from the LP and dive more into the euphoric side of Rustie's instrumental music. Heavy of synth work, they won't tear into clubs with the same voracity as some of his prior trap heaters have, but the two new trakcs have more emphasis on songwriting and differing harmonic elements.

Listen to the two new songs below and get ready for EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE tomorrow.
