Monica Drops 'Just Right For Me' Video Featuring Lil Wayne, Talks Ciara Beef & Tour [WATCH]

R&B singer Monica has just released the video for her latest single, featuring rapper Lil Wayne, "Just Right For Me". Despite the recent reports of her beef with longtime former friend and fellow R&B singer, Ciara, Monica is still pushing forward and readying her upcoming album Code Red and her tour, The Code Red Experience.

The singer, who is gearing up for the release of her eighth studio album, released the video for the first single on Friday November 6. According to Black America Web, the single features Lil Wayne and shows the Atlanta singer hanging out with a group of skateboarders, performing tricks on their boards and having a fun-filled time. The single was released on June 26, according to Josepvinaixa, and will be featured on the full album set to hit stores on December 18.

Monica posted photos from the video shoot on her Instagram, before releasing video, telling her followers just how difficult it was to skateboard. She described shooting the video as a "dope experience" since Lil Wayne, who she refers to as "Tune," is a pro at skateboarding and has a real passion for it.

Though the album has not been released as of yet, the mother of three is already preparing for her month long tour, The Code Red Experience, where she will be hitting the stage in 22 cities, with R&B artist Rico Love. The tour kicks off on Thursday November 12 in Las Vegas, at the Brooklyn Bowl, and wraps up on December 13 in New York at the Gramercy Theater, according her Instagram post.

The Miss Thang singer began her career in 1995 with the release of her first album, at the age of 13. She recently turned 35 on October 24 and celebrated her birthday along with other Atlanta celebrities, Toya Wright; and Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks, who all celebrate birthdays around the same time according to Bossip. The site didn't report how Monica celebrated her birthday and whether or not she did something spectacular with friends; but if she did, one friend in particular would not be present, and that's Ciara.

The two Atlanta singers were reportedly friends for well over 20 years, but that recently changed according to Straight From The A. Reportedly, Ciara found her friendship with Monica to be flawed once specualtions began to fly about Monica befriending one of Future's, the father to Ciara's son, exes who he cheated on her with. Monica did a radio interview where she addressed the rumors and stated that she was in fact friends with one of Future's other exes, who he was not cheating on Ciara with. Monica stated she and Ciara were "like sisters" and their falling out had nothing to do with Future, but stemmed from other issues that they never addressed.

"At the end of the day, I don't know how all these different stories got misconstrued and put out," she stated during the interview on the Jazzy McBee Show with 94.5 according to Straight From The A. "She and I did have a disagreement. We both had issues with each other. When you have been friends for a long time, almost two decades, and you let things fester and you don't talk about them, it can cause a breakdown that other people may not understand."

Despite the two not being on good terms or even speaking to one another, she still wishes her former friend the best in life and in her new relationship with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
