Migos: freed from jail
The pair link up with hotly-tipped Atlanta producer Zaytoven to provide a quirky 8-bit, trap beat. The three amigos find that chemistry that helped bring them into the lite of the new school Atlanta trap wave.
Instead of tracks from the past couple months where the trio ran out of already recorded material from Offset and just had verses from Quavo and Takeoff, we get all three rappers on a verse. The trio revel in Offset's return from behind bars in the chorus, rapping, "Migos get back into three / You better go hide where your momma be / She told you can't have any company ..... Hit 'em with Pipe It Up, look at my dab / They gone f*cked up and freed all of my dogs / Minor setback for a major comeback."
Coming in at five minutes, this is one of the largest tracks fans have heard from the trio, but as one might imagine, they have a lot to get of their chest, especially Offset.
Offset was released from prison Friday, Dec. 4 after spending 233 days behind bars. The trio were arrested in April on drug and gun charges at a show at Georgia Southern University. Offset had a prior criminal record, which prevented him from making bail, like his compatriots. According to prosecutors, he also sparked a jailhouse riot, which kept him behind bars for some time.
