Miley Cyrus had just left the hospital after six days spent in bed due to a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, but now right before the European leg of her Bangerz Tour, it seems as though the “Adore You” singer is back on doctor’s ordered rest.
According to People, Cyrus seemed to be recovered from her illness symptoms but they have since returned, sending her back under doctor’s care and unable to travel for her live shows.
“After a period of improvement, Cyrus’ symptoms have returned and doctors will not permit her to travel,” the singer’s management said in a statement.
The announcement of Cyrus’ returned illness comes less than a week before the European leg is set to kick off. She was supposed to play in Antwerp, Belgium, later this week but has now postponed that show on June 20. Cyrus is expected to perform at London’s famous O2 Arena on May 6, however.
Cyrus has technically remained silent on the issue, but her always-active Twitter over the last two days has signaled that something has been off. “spoke to soon,” she wrote on April 28. “R u f---ing kidding me?!?!?!?? #aprilcangofuckitself.”
The following day she tweeted a long string of crying cat emoji faces, the typical Cyrus symbol for sheer sadness.
