In anticipation for their upcoming album, Turn Blue, The Black Keys stopped by BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe to chat about the record and share some new material. They played the previously released "Turn Blue" and "Fever" and premiered a new track "Bullet in the Brain."
They also vaguely announced an upcoming North American tour that will feature three different openers. No other details were given, however.
"Bullet in the Brain" has Pink Floyd-esque guitar work, which later speeds up to include synth and crashing drums. "Bullet in the brain," Dan Auerbach croons. "I prefer them to remain the same."
The Danger Mouse-produced effort is due out May 13 via Nonesuch Record. Check out the full interview below and listen to "Bullet in the Brain" at the 16:18 mark.
