Netflix and the creators behind the forthcoming Full House reboot, have finally ready to give fans a taste of what's to coming in the highly anticipated series. On Thursday (Dec. 17), the first trailer, or should we say teaser, for Fuller House made its debut and it's bound to give fans of the original show a serious case of the feels. Looks like Christmas came early this year!
Although the only familiar face we see in the teaser is the Tanner family's affectionate dog Comet, the still shots alone bring back countless memories. Kicking off the visuals with beautiful footage of the Golden Gate bridge, followed by a trolley car running through town, and a display of San Francisco houses that take over the street.
The camera lands on a home with the infamous red door and that's when the 1990s nostalgia really sets in. Navigating through the kitchen and to the front door, viewers can hear the voices of several members of the Tanner family right outside. As soon as they put their key in the door, the screen fades to black. Netflix released the following full description of the show:
"In Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) recently widowed and living in San Francisco. D.J.'s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and D.J.'s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), along with Kimmy's feisty teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas), all move in to help take care of D.J.'s three boys-the rebellious 12-year-old Jackson (Michael Champion), neurotic 7-year-old Max (Elias Harger), and her newborn baby, Tommy Jr (Messitt twins)."
The majority of the original characters will be reprising their roles for the show, including Danny (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier), as well as, Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin). Michelle, who was portrayed by twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, will not make an appearance on the show.
If you're wondering how the show will carry on without the presence of Michelle, don't worry, the creators have got that all covered. They plan on playing off Michelle's absence by referencing real-life experiences the twins are dealing with, like being busy in the city with her successful fashion line.
All thirteen episodes of the series are scheduled to air on Feb. 26, 2016. Stay tuned for more updates and digital clips of the forthcoming show.
