'RHONJ': Teresa Giudice Will Be Released From Prison Just in Time for the Holidays

Former Real Housewives Of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, could soon be receiving the ultimate holiday gift - reuniting with her family by being released from prison just in time for Christmas.

According to the NY Daily News, after serving 12 months in a Danbury, Connecticut federal prison, Guidice is set to be released on Dec. 23 and will be home with her family; husband Joe, and their daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, by Christmas. The former Jersey housewife was sentenced to serve 15 months in the federal institution but is being released to serve the remaining months of her sentence at home on house arrest.

An All About The Tea report stated under the house arrest terms the mother of four will be required to wear an ankle bracelet and will be limited in the places she is able to go and certain activities. As of right now, one of those activities won't be filming for Bravo and the reality show while serving out the remainder of her sentence. The site reports that Giudice's lawyer, James Leonard, is doing all that he can to shift the probationary conditions and allow her the opportunity to earn money from filming as soon as possible.

Whether or not Leonard's efforts return a positive outcome for Giudice is still yet to be seen but, according to a source, she is remaining hopeful. "She is of course beyond excited about the upcoming release," a source explained according to All About The Tea. "The final details of the release are still in the works, along with the conditions of her house arrest. Teresa is hopeful that the Bureau of Prisons won't require her to stay at the house for the next two months."

The Giudice family reunion will only last for a few months until Joe has his turn to report to prison. His sentence is set to begin in March of 2016 where he will serve out a 41-month prison sentence according to US Magazine. The pair pleaded guilty to several counts of fraud in late October 2014.
