Shakira can shake it, this we know is true. Today (May 7), the international pop star released the third music video from her most recent self-titled album for “Dare (La La La)” and it features tons of dancing and little else.
Rocking a bondage-esque torn black dress, Shakira belly dances her way through a number of scenes in what appears to be a Spanish town. There she is, dancing in front of a multi-colored way. There she is, dancing in a well-maintained garden. There she is, dancing in front of, behind and on top of a wall.
Shakira is a woman of many talents, namely singing and dancing, though.
Eventually, in “Dare (La La La)” she takes her talents to the streets, where a slew of men and women of all ages and races come and join her in a choreographed jaunt through the streets. There’s no real point to any of it, and frankly this entire video and its four locations and one outfit seem a little half-assed, but it is Shakira, and sometimes dancing is just enough for her.

“Dare (La La La)” is the third pop single from Shakira’s eponymous album, which dropped in March. “Can’t Remember To Forget You” (feat. Rihanna) and “Empire” precede this track on pop radio. Meanwhile, Shakira’s duet with her fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton, “Medicine,” is being served to country markets.
