Fans of Guns N' Roses are almost assuredly getting a late Christmas gift soon, as the band is showing renewed signs of a reunion and a possible headlining gig at Coachella.
As Blabbermouth notes, a visit to the band's official website reveals a completely stripped down page adorned with just the band's Appetite For Destruction logo and a pair of links to buy merch and a subscription service to the band's content.
The logo is one of the more telling parts though, as Axl Rose and Slash have long fought over the ownership and use of the band's imagery, logos and copyrights. The band's merchandise store now features many of these long contended images including items displaying Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler all together.
Rumors started flying back in the summer, when Slash proclaimed in an interview that he and Rose had patched up their friendship after nearly 20 years of tension.
According to sources close to Consequence of Sound, the publication reports that a headlining gig at 2016's Coachella Music & Arts Festival seems like a real possibility. The festival is set to announce its lineup in early January and Guns N' Roses might be planning a surprise shortly before that news drops.
The band with its famous roster of musicians last performed at a concert in Argentina in 1993. The closest fans have come to a reunion was when the band mostly came together in 2012 for their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Slash, McKagan and Adler were in attendance but Rose and Stadlin were no shows.
Matt Sorum, who replaced Adler as the band's drummer following an exodus due to rampant drug use, said in an interview that he'd encourage both of them to come back and have two drum kits.
