Early in December, Young Thug's go-to videographer, Be El Be, revealed that Thugger’s Slime Season 3 would possibly be released close to New Year’s. Well the time has come and fans have received a glimpse at the project’s cover art as well as a preview of Thug’s remix of Jeremih's “Pass Dat.” He shared the snippet on Instagram.

The cover art, created by an Instagram user who goes by its.fano, consists of a painting of the Atlanta rapper with his dreads replaced with an army of spindly little snakes.

As far as Thug’s remix of “Pass Dat,” it is unclear whether or not the cut will be featured on his forthcoming project or drop as a loosie. Just last week, Thug shared a clip of himself blasting Jeremih's original, with the caption, "Omg best song in life... I love this guy!!!"

At the top of November, Thug released his Slime Season 2 mixtape. The 23-track long project also features Lil Uzi Vert, Trouble, Shad Da God and Yak Gotti. Others like London on da Track, Wheezy, TM88 and C4 contributed on the production side. The tape followed Thug's September mixtape, bearing the same name.

SS2’s predecessor included features from Lil Wayne, Quavo, Offset, Gucci Mane and PeeWee Longway. Thug first announced a follow-up to Slime Season just two weeks after its September release.

In addition to SS3, fans can hope to hear Thug’s debut album, Hy!£UN35. The album and its supporting tour had been pushed back to the new year from its September release date.

"Regrettably, the following Young Thug Hy!£UN35 Tour has been postponed," a statement from Atlantic Records read. "Young Thug will use this time to focus on putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35. The postponed dates will be rescheduled to 2016 in support of the release of the Hy!£UN35 album. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Stay tuned for updates.
