Dreezy had a great December month. The rapper released her hit EP, From Now On, and it featured Detroit's very own Dej Loaf on the track "Serena." Now the rapper is back with a new track, "Body," featuring Jeremih.
The Interscope artist recruited fellow Chicago native Jeremih for the new single, and the track is quite sexy! Jeremih and Dreezy vibe well together as they sing about holding each other down and making love. Jeremih sings, "Your body on my body, baby/I'm about to catch a body in here/I love when you grin on me." Dreezy raps, "Drop all your hoes, let me show you I'm a rider."
The mixture of hip-hop and R&B definitely sounds good and it will surely be bumping on the radio stations soon enough.
The single is available to listen to but after hearing it once, you may want to purchase it. This single is one of many that shows off Dreezy's skils. The rapper's mixtape, Schizo, dropped in 2014 and immediately pushed her to the next level. Then she remixed Nicki Minaj's "Chi-Raq," and people couldn't help but to love her.
During an interview with Complex, the rapper revealed a little about her work ethic, "I feel like I have a versatile style so I challenge myself to do different things. I'm trying new things all the time. I was really in the process of completing my album, and my A&R Dash and Pusha Rod introduced me to Southside and Metro Boomin. We made our first song and it was hype."
With all the success Dreezy has had so far, we can only expect even greater things from her.
