2 Chainz’s piano-driven trap anthem “Watch Out” has been floating around the Internet for about six months now and was also featured on his most recent mixtape, Trap-A-Velli Tre. On Monday (Jan. 25), he decided to release a hilarious video for the track.
The Motion Family-directed clip features the Atlanta rhymer’s rapping head superimposed on several bodies. He first appears as a child at a piano recital before taking on President Obama and Nicolas Fraser, whose "Why You Always Lyin'" Vine made him an Internet sensation in 2015.
Elsewhere, “2 Chainz” shows off some impressive dance moves. In one scene, he’s seen rocking his wildly popular Dabbing Santa Christmas sweater. As previously reported, the “We Own It" rapper netted $2 million in revenue from the sweater sales.
"This is just timing meets opportunity. There's the whole dab thing, and Atlanta's always been somewhere that actually moves the culture a little bit," he said of the sweater’s success. "We have been the backbone of hip-hop for the past couple years. So with dabbing coming out of Atlanta, it just began to grow legs and start moving on its own."
2 Chainz is currently on the road for his Watch Out tour, which kicked off earlier this month in Sacramento. The tour will run through the end of February. Check out the remainder of 2 Chainz’s itinerary and his video for “Watch Out” below.
