With rumors of her leaving Epic Records swirling, "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer Ciara may be facing some career challenges. And her most recent announcement to fans may validate that chatter: According to the songstress, part. two of her "Jackie" tour has been postponed indefinitely.
Ciara took to Facebook on Friday to inform her beloved CSquad that the second part of her long-awaited tour would not be kicking off March 30 as planned. She said she is solely focused on her next album. She wrote,
"Important Message For My Fans Regarding Tour, Unfortunately, my upcoming tour is moving again.. Why?...I'm currently in the process of making the best album of my career! I want to give all of you an incredible show... A show that you deserve! Therefore, I gotta stay focused in the studio and commit myself to this new music. I love you all, and I'm thankful for your unwavering support. I am excited for this journey to continue and look forward to seeing you soon! Love Ciara."
Ciara's announcement comes on the heels of reports that she was leaving Epic Records. A fan tweeted that he met L.A. Reid at his Sing to Me book signing and said the producer suggested Ciara was leaving the label of her own accord, The Source reports.
Nothing has been confirmed, and Ciara is still listed on Epic's roster. So is her ex--fiance, Future, whom she is suing for defamation. The singer's 2015 album Jackie, was the worst-performing album of her six studio projects; it only moved 20,000 units in its first week.
