Ciara thrilled fans far and wide with the announcement of her 2016 Jackie tour. Unfortunately, that excitement has come to an end after the princess of the A revealed that she is discontinuing the tour to focus soley on recording her new album.
The "Like A Boy" singer wrapped up the second leg of her tour, named for her latest album, Jackie, in late December 2015. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the show will go on after a recent Facebook post emergerged on the mother's fan page on Feb. 26, apologizing to those fans who were looking forward to seeing the show come to their city. According to This Is RnB, the southern singer decided against continuing into the Spring with the tour, as she had originally planned, and had even decided to cancel dates that have already been booked in the immediate future, to focus on creating and recording a new album for 2016.

The first leg of the Jackie Tour began in May 2015 and traveled through cities like Chicago, New York, Boston, New Orleans, Dallas, and Los Angeles, according to Rap Up. The first leg of the tour did so well that the "I Bet" singer added part two and traveled to cities like Charlotte, Cleveland, Detroit, Seattle and thirteen other cities all between Nov. 27 through Dec. 20, as reported in an October Rap Up report.
Though the tour has ended, Ciara assures fans that they will not be disappointed with her decision to focus all of her attention on the new album. Referring to it as "the best album of her career," Ciara could have found a muse from the recent drama between her and her son's father, rapper Future.
According to TMZ, the former couple are now engaging in lawsuits against one another with Ciara citing that Future is costing her millions of dollars by alleging that she's a bad mother.
At least she can creatively release her tension and express herself in the new album.
