Spring is right around the corner from being sprung, and that means one thing for vinyl collectors: Record Store Day 2016 is on its way. A little more than a month out of this year's big day, Record Store Day officially announced the records that will be included for this year's event.
Highlights of Record Store Day's 2016 offerings include picture discs for David Bowie's The Man Who Sold the World and TVC15, a new single from Death Cab For Cutie that includes the Kitsungi track "Black Sun" and a cover of Guided By Voice's "Tractor Rape Chain" and a box set from The Flaming Lips that includes its entire discography from 2006 to 2012.
Other offerings include Albert Hammond Jr.'s debut album Yours to Keep on vinyl for the first time, double LPs for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter and Tha Carter II as well as colored vinyls from the likes of Madonna, Outkast, Post Malone, Gerard Way, Willie Nelson and more.
Fans of soundtracks will also be pleased. Movies such as How to Trade Your Dragon, Joy, the 1922 classic Nosferatu and Star Wars: The Force Awakens will have their OSTs as a part of Record Store Day.
There are, of course, a few oddities in the mix. The full soundtrack to NBC's The Blacklist will be available on vinyl for the first time, as well as a selection of Disney records and the Vitamin String Quartet cover of Daft Punk's Random Access Memories.

Record Store Day 2016 is set to take place on Saturday, April 16.
