Kygo has unveiled the music video for his song "Carry Me" featuring Julia Michaels, lifted from his debut artist album Cloud Nine. The video was shot in Ibiza with his friend, social media star and model Jay Alvarrez.
The pair star in the film with a few others as they spend a few days partaking in Ibiza adventures. They go cliff diving, enjoy time on boats of various sizes, swim in the ocean, stay in a large mansion and seem to have a raucous time on the island. There are some clips of Kygo's shows at Ushuaia Hotel in Ibiza as well. This is what one can aspire to on a vacation in Ibiza.
Kygo and Savage Isle Productions produced the video.
"Carry Me" is the latest track from Cloud Nine to get a visual. It follows other visuals for tracks such as "Stay," "Stole The Show" and "Firestone." The theme has generally been summery - much like his music. "Stole The Show" was a bit more adventurous, but the rest has kept to what his music sounds like with more beaches and love stories.
Kygo performed "Carry Me" at the closing ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio live with Julia Michaels. It was the beginning of a partnership between him and the newly launched Olympic Channel.
Kygo has had a busy summer and early fall, playing festivals and gigs around the globe such as Ultra Japan, ACL and most recently Meadows Festival in New York City. He has a two-night stay at the Hollywood Bowl next weekend, Oct. 14-15 with support from Bob Moses, Labrinth and others.
