The legal woes just won't let up for Justin Bieber. The 20-year-old "Confident" singer will officially be facing vandalism charged in Los Angeles, spawning from the infamous egg-tossing incident earlier this year.
According to CNN, Bieber will be charged with misdemeanor vandalism charges for throwing eggs at a former neighbor's house in a ritzy Casablancas, California, neighborhood. The misdemeanor charges are actually good news for Bieber - he was apparently teetering the lines of a felony charge, but the Los Angeles district attorney dropped the seriousness of the charge, despite sheriff's recommendations.
Bieber's "silly prank" reportedly caused over $20,000 in damages to the Casablancas mansion. He has since moved out of the neighborhood, selling his lavish home to Khloe Kardashian.
Further good news for Bieber: the charge being labeled as a misdemeanor means he won't have to appear in court himself. His lawyer is expected to appear in a L.A. court today (July 9).
The official vandalism charge is yet another item on Bieber's ever-going rap sheet.
In January, the singer was arrested for driving under the influence in Miami, after drag racing down a street near the beach. He's also been detained for smoking marijuana on a plane and faced assault charges in a Toronto court.
And though the acts aren't illegal, footage of Bieber spouting off multiple racist insults as a young teen on camera surfaced. All the Bieber drama was enough to rustle up a petition to get Bieber deported back to Canada... though it didn't work.
