Justin Bieber just can't keep himself out of trouble with the police. After a string of incidents with the law, including a DUI arrest, a possibly felonious egging "prank" and assault accusations in Toronto, the "Confident" singer is being investigated for attempted robbery in Los Angeles.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the attempted robbery took place at a miniature golf and batting cage center in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of L.A. A woman reportedly was trying to take pictures of Bieber with her cell phone, which caused the troubled 20-year-old pop star to try and snatch her mobile device and delete any pictures she had taken.
The Wire reports that the woman claimed she hadn't taken any pictures and began to wrestle Bieber for her phone. When she eventually got it back from him and showed the singer she hadn't taken any photos and she and her 13-year-old daughter just wanted to say hi, Bieber reportedly began yelling at the pair.
"You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don't you just get out of here?" he reportedly screamed at the mother.
The victim then said Bieber turned around and began screaming at somebody else. Instead of making the young fan cry with delight at seeing Bieber, she reportedly began crying out of distress.
The LAPD is now investigating whether or not the cell phone grabbing incident could be pegged as attempted robbery.
As mentioned, this isn't the first legal trouble for Bieber. He's set to appear in court on July 7 for his Miami DUI arrest in January. He's also being investigated for an egging incident in his former neighborhood in Casablancas, California, which cause over $20,000 in damages to a neighbor's home.
