2017 started out with one of the strangest hip-hop beefs in quite a while as Soulja Boy and Chris Brown went after it on social media. It started when apparently Chris Brown got mad Soulja liked a few pictured of Karrueche Tran on Instagram and then a back and forth ensued with crews saying they would get after each other. After several days of comedy for onlookers, the beef ended after Soulja Boy's mom got involved. The fued isn't completely dead, as two have agreed to a celebrity boxing match, which is apparently set and being promoted by Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent.
In an Instagram post last night, Chris Brown confirmed his participation in the fight as a way to make up for his childish ways on social media and settle the dispute man-to-man.

Soulja Boy then returned with three posts of his own. One of the posts includes an official (maybe) poster of the fight, another with him and 50 Cent and another with him and Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd Mayweather is also allegedly training Soulja Boy to fight.

If he continues his thirsting for Nicki Minaj he may have to schedule a follow up date with Meek Mill though...
There isn't a venue or a firm date set, but according to the caption for the poster, the fight should happen in Vegas in March. We will see if they can get this all together by then, or if this is all just a desperate promo stunt for new music.
