Jason Owen Slams Mike Huckabee
Jason Owen, who represents Kacey Musgraves, Faith Hill, and Little Big Town, called Huckabee's appointment as offensive.
"I have a child and two on the way. This man has made it clear that my family is not welcome in his America. And the CMA has opened their arms to him, making him feel welcome and relevant," said Owen.
The music manager is openly gay, and he said that Huckabee has spoken negatively about the kind of family he has, and it has left a negative impact on him, as well as the young people living in America.
Huckabee has been aligned with President Donald Trump. He is also a supporter of the arts, and he once wrote an op-ed piece to show his support for the National Endowment for the Arts. However, majority of the country artists and managers are not pleased with his recent assignment because of his controversial stands on gay marriage and gun control.
