Beyoncé and Jay-Z have added more dates and venues as part of "On The Run II," their anticipated joint trek around North America and Europe.
The tour, which was officially confirmed last week, initially had 15 stops in Europe and 21 stops in North America. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are expected to perform tracks from their chart-topping and Grammy-winning albums, 4:44 and Lemonade.
On Tuesday, March 20, Jay-Z's Tidal Music announced a couple of new shows in North America and added a second show in Amsterdam to the European leg of the tour.
"On The Run II" is, of course, the follow-up to the box office hit, co-headlining, stadium tour of the celebrity couple back in 2014. It is presented by Live Nation Global Touring in association with Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment and Jay-Z's Roc Nation.
The upcoming tour will kick off on June 6, Wednesday, in Cardiff in the United Kingdom. The North American leg of the tour will begin on July 25, Wednesday, in Cleveland, Ohio.
General sales tickets are now available for purchase on Tidal and Live Nation. See the additional tour dates below.
Filming In Jamaica
In the meantime, fans can expect a new music video to be released before the duo goes on tour this summer. The "Family Feud" rapper and the "Hold Up" singer were spotted in Bob Marley's hometown of Kingston in Jamaica, cruising the streets on a motorcycle.
The husband and wife looked stylish as they tour around the city with the natives at the backdrop. Jay-Z looks ahead, cool and serious in a matching black track suit with a stark white piping design and a green zip-up collar for a pop of color. Meanwhile, Queen Bey looked like a royal in a blue bomber jacket with red stripes design. She paired it with white fishnet stockings and hot pink ankle boots. The theme, it seems like, is sporty retro streetwear which was even more vibrant against the beautiful city of Kingston.
In another set of photos, Beyoncé changed into a burnt orange knit dress with long sleeves paired with an orange vest and baby pink furry sandals.
It was not revealed what the video is for, but Jay-Z and Beyoncé have previously appeared together with their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and a dozen of Hollywood personalities on "Family Feud." The music video directed by Ava DuVernay (A Wrinkle In Time) sees the 48-year-old confessing to a priestess played by Beyoncé. Meanwhile, Blue Ivy is framed as the president in a distant future when women dominate the government.
The music video also features Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Jessica Chastain (X-Men: Dark Phoenix), Rosario Dawson (Marvel's Luke Cage), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Rashida Jones (Parks & Recreation), and Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project).
