Bang Bang Con The Live comes fresh from their free Bang Bang Con series, which streamed over YouTube on April 18 and 19 (Korean time), and is a compilation of eight sold-out concerts across South Korea. The featured shows on the two-day event were taken from their early years of 2014 - 2017, which attracted more than 50.6 million viewers glued around the world. BTS is the shortened form of Bangtan Sonyeondan was formed in 2013. The new BTS offering will allow the boyband and their loyal fans to be in touch with one another since their "Map of the Soul: 7" world tour has been canceled. The KPop boyband had to forego the entire tour as an effect of the coronavirus pandemic. Governments all over the world have disallowed large public gatherings to prevent the further spread of the dreaded COVID-19 virus. The concert series was initially scheduled for an April 11 kick-off in their home city, Seoul, in South Korea, and was supposed to cross over different U.S.states, Canada, several European cities, and in Japan from April to July. Not to be daunted with the quarantine, BTS boys had been busy while staying all together in their home. The world's biggest boyband maintained a strong presence online that allowed them to be seen in their activities. RM, their leader, teased on April 17 that a new album will be released this year. The rapper further revealed on his live feed through BangtanTV's official channel on YouTube that BTS will be sharing what the boys are doing every week. On May 12, they showed a glimpse of the boys in a huddle over the upcoming album. BTS discussed the concept, how many tracks will be included, even debating on the theme. BTS also released on the same day their docu-series "Break the Silence" that features their 2018 and 2019 world tour. The documentary is also available in the WeVerse app as a pay-per-view engagement.
