EXO's fans who have been there since day one surely experience repeated heartbreaks - especially during Christmas.

In 2012, SM Entertainment presented the 12-member boy group whose music is focused on Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese languages. EXO's debut initially barged music shows and events as the group played a key role in introducing and expanding the K-pop culture outside Korea.

For the past years, it has established several sub-groups to reach more fans - EXO-K, EXO-M, EXO-CBX, and EXO-SC. As a 12-member group, they were often regarded as the biggest boyband in the world and "Kings of K-pop." But as they tried to work harder, they lost three members in the process.

EXO-Ls Saddest Christmas

Long before Luhan, Kris, and Tao's departure, EXO dropped their first Christmas project, "Miracles in December" and "EXO's Showtime." Their Christmas as OT12 only lasted until 2013, when the three aforesaid members got embroiled in different legal cases and pursued their careers outside EXO, leaving the nine members behind.

Despite that, the boy group managed to bring the best - and most heartbreaking - Christmas songs to their fans.

"Miracles in December," which both has a Korean and Chinese version, has been an all-time favorite of EXO-Ls that it became an annual anthem every Christmas eve. Although the song is a festive one, it delivers a saddening message about a person leaving them behind during the winter season.

As of the writing, it is only a few thousands away from reaching 1 million likes. Still, over 57 million people have already viewed the song's official music video.

Meanwhile, "What I Want For Christmas" features Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, and D.O. Unlike "Miracles in December," the song offered an upbeat vibe as the K-pop idols express their desire to be with their fans during Christmas.

EXO made another emotional Christmas song in 2015, titled "Sing For You." It delivers a positive message to everyone they cherish while igniting a mood that causes EXO-L's to be in happy tears.

EXO, despite only having nine members now, keeps on taking care of their fans by offering them the best music. Although they had the best memories as OT12, those became something they could remember but could never go back to. EXO-Ls, in return, pledge to complete the group by giving them utmost love and support.
