Fans were excited when the trio band "La Luz" announced that they were going on tour this 2022. However, the group recently announced that they wouldn't be pushing through some of the dates because of Shana Cleveland's health condition; what happened to her?
The band explained that they had been "radio silent" recently to their official Instagram account.
Since they're a few months away from the first date of their tour, the bad said they usually "blast" fans with show announcements. However, they have to shift focus on their bandmate since they found out about her medical condition.
"Shana has breast cancer. While we're still waiting to get info on what treatment will look like, it seems clear we won't be able to make this East Coast Tour happen in March," they wrote. (via Jam Base)
They mentioned the group knows that Cleveland "would pull through this stronger than ever."
Despite their East Coast tour cancellation, fans got a ray of light as "La Luz" noted that they were hoping the European schedule would push through.
"We miss you terribly and will rebook shows in the Midwest and Eastern US as soon as possible.
Sending love to you all," they concluded.
After the band shared the post, many friends and fans bombarded the comment section with love and support.

After releasing their self-titled album, La Luz announced their tour would start at Austin's Levitation Festival.
According to Brooklyn Vegan, the band was supposed to tour several cities, including Huixquilucan De Degollado in Mexico, San Diego, Perris, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Nashville, and many more.
However, the abovementioned cities have been canceled already.
At the time of this writing, there are no updates on whether their European tour will push through.
The band released their self-titled album a few months back; it was the follow up to their 2018 record "Floating Features" that included their hit tracks "Loose Teeth" and "The Creature."
Speaking to Under The Radar Magazine, Cleveland revealed that the album was only written and mixed in two weeks, saying she enjoyed hanging out with her bandmates.
"I think I even cried on the last day, I was like, 'I don't want to leave!' Especially after all that time isolated I was like, 'Ah! Human connection!'" she noted.
