English electronic dance music band The Prodigy announces stage comeback, almost three years since former frontman Keith Flint passed away.
The Prodigy is coming back with a string of live shows across England to coincide with the band's 25th anniversary of their 1997 iconic album "Fat of the Land."
Waiting to get back on stage to play their tunes for fans, the group hinted that new music might be coming too.
"We'll be droppin tunes from all our albums and maybe some shit u haven't heard before," The Prodigy teased.
Four years since they released their last studio album, "No Tourists," debuted at No. 1 in the Official Charts Company Album Charts in the UK.
Like their previous ones, this is the seventh consecutive album that the band produced that debuted at the top of the charts.
Following their frontman Keith Flint's death due to suicide, No Tourists was the frontman's last project in 2018. With the current announcement, the band has publicly expressed that they will be dedicating the upcoming shows for the late frontman.
The pre-sale of tickets will begin on March 9, as the regular sale will commence on March 11. Fans may check this website for more information.
The band will perform in cities like Sheffield and Liverpool before traveling to Birmingham, Newcastle, and Manchester for a three-night stand in Brixton, London.
Paying tribute to the late Keith Flint
Starting out as a dancer of the group, Keith Flint became one of the most beloved members of the act when he became the band's frontman. Last week, the band paid tribute again to Flint's third death anniversary via Twitter.
Writing how they miss their brother, the band took to Twitter to show photos of Flint onstage and some old photos of Liam Howlett and Maxim. "Your Fire will never go out. Stay Punk brother. We live forever!" they wrote.
Last September 2021, London unveiled a massive mural in Hackney, East London honoring Keith Flint.
A mural intended to raise awareness on seeking help against suicide shows a happy and shouting Keith Flint, urging people who suffer from suicidal tendencies to "shout" for help.
Artist Akse created the artwork with funds raised through crowdsourcing in collaboration with Headstock, a music and mental health festival in the United Kingdom.
