It's starting to get pretty obvious that Lil Kim is jealous of all of Nicki Minaj's recent successes - with two big singles released in the past month, the old Queen Bee just can't keep up. So, to fuel her anger and make new music at the same time today (Aug. 6), Lil Kim released a new single "Identity Theft," a clear diss at Minaj.
In case there was any question that the obviously titled single was a shot at the "Anaconda" rapper, Kim went so far as to include Minaj's image on her single artwork, using a picture of the rapper alongside information from Kim's driver's license.
So, there's just not a lot of subtly here, though Kim does refrain from addressing Minaj by name.
"I gave birth to your style / watch how you speak to your mammie / Your team can't f--k with my family / And I ain't talking in term of revenue," Kim raps in the second verse. Kim also claims "F--k cash," which could very easily be seen as a slam to Minaj's Young Money crew.
Despite the biting and thirsty lyrics, Kim does still prove that she has an impeccable sense of flow, spitting her bitter rhymes over a swell of orchestral instruments, making one very epic sounding new single.
It's just a shame it oozes of desperation.

"Identity Theft" is just the latest round of musical shots fired in the feud between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj. Earlier this week, Kim released her own remix of Beyoncé's "Flawless" after Minaj did the same, dissing her in the process.
