Bono and his wife Ali Hewson walked arm-in-arm in the French town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence on Wednesday, putting on a warm display.
Both Ali and the U2 musician, both 61, were observed exiting the La Colombe d'or restaurant following a meal. Bono opted for a smart-casual look, with a blue denim shirt and slate grey tie.
He completed his ensemble with a pair of black slacks and matching leather boots featuring characteristic Cuban heels. For his outing, the Irish actor sported a black leather jacket and tinted glasses.
Meanwhile, Ali sported a black jacket with blue denim trousers and suede heels.
She was holding a huge white Yves Saint Laurent bag in her hand following a day of expensive shopping.
Bono's appearance follows former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher's criticism of U2, saying the 'boring' band should get "into a bit more naughty stuff."
Liam was recently lauded as "oone of the few remaining rock stars" by Foo Fighters vocalist Dave Grohl, a sentiment shared by the Everything's Electric singer.
"He's correct the rest of them are useless." he said on Twitter.

And later in the interview, the Some Might Say singer commented on what he believes it takes to reach true rock star status, using the chance to take another playful dig at U2, whom he previously dubbed "toff rock."
He even clarified his statement, making everything worse. He said not all of them are [useless], but the bulk of them are. Loudwire Nights anchor Toni Gonzalez, listened intently. Then he went for Bono as if the latter does not have his own fans.
The ones that think they're rock stars are not, they ... just live a very boring f****** life, and I think rock 'n' roll deserves a little bit more than just making music, you know what I mean?
'You gotta get out there and get yourself - you just gotta live an exciting life. It's like U2, they pass themselves as a rock 'n' roll band, but what the? Come on, man, I've never seen f****** Bono , I mean I've never seen any of them do anything remotely rock 'n' roll.'
The 49-year-old musician - whose arch-nemesis and former Oasis bandmate Noel, 54, is close friends with Bono of U2 - claimed rock stars must not be "snowflakes," and have more "attitude."
